TNT News is an independent Indian news and analysis platform. We cover politics, cricket, business, energy, education and culture. We publish breaking news, contextual analysis and opinion.

We source every statistic, name every author and present every political story from more than one side. We do not publish press releases dressed as news. We do not take advertising that influences editorial decisions.

We are based in India. We launched on May 1, 2026.

Why We Built This

Indian news coverage has a volume problem. Fifty to two hundred articles published per day across most major platforms. Reactive, fast and frequently stripped of the context that would make any of it actually useful to the reader.

TNT News was built as a response to that. Not to compete on volume but to compete on depth. Every article we publish has a sourced argument, a named author and a reason to exist beyond repeating what the wire agency already said.

What We Are Trying to Do Differently

Context is not optional. A fact without context is not information. It is noise. Every story we publish carries enough background that a reader encountering it for the first time understands not just what happened but why it matters.

Analysis and news are not opposites. The best news writing has always contained analysis. TNT News treats every story as an opportunity to think, not just to report.

The reader is not a passive recipient. The people reading TNT News are curious, intelligent adults who want to understand their country and their world more clearly. We write for them, not down to them.

Opinion and analysis, where TNT News writers make arguments, take positions and invite disagreement.

The Core Team

• Dilshad M Saudagar, Founder and Editor

Dilshad is a journalist, filmmaker and digital marketing professional. He has worked across all three disciplines long enough to believe they are not separate fields but the same field approached from different directions. At TNT News he writes, edits and is responsible for the editorial direction of the publication.

• Manthan P Choube, Co-Founder, Technology and Growth

Manthan is a US-returned software developer and digital marketing strategist with experience building digital products across markets in India and the United States. At TNT News he is responsible for the platform, technical infrastructure and distribution strategy. His view is that technology on a news site should be invisible: the reader should never think about how it works, only about what it says.

A Note on Independence

TNT News is independently owned and operated by its founders. We have no external investors, no political backers and no parent company. Our revenue comes from advertising, sponsored content clearly labelled as such, and affiliate commissions on products we genuinely recommend. No advertiser has editorial influence over what we publish or how we publish it.

We think Indian readers deserve more publications that are honest about what they are and who is behind them. This page is our attempt at exactly that.
